Another oldie here. If I add a text cell inside a widget, then hit cmd-return without entering any text, the parent is selected rather than the text cell.
hey, we even managed to re-implement the bugs in our new JavaScript-implementation Yes does not make sense. Will add an issue to our bug tracker.

Well this is not actually a bug, but was intended
The idea was that if you use e.g. a button widget from the inspector, double click the text and hit enter, the button is selected, not the inner text cell. I still think it makes sense that way, but not in all use cases of course.
