When the input is null

Is there a way to make the input display another state when the button is pressed when the input is null? (for example, change to red)

since we currently do not have conditionals, you have to use a script-action. Here a simple example with a input-widget (in two states, “Normal” and “error”) on the left, and a validate-button. Clicking the button executes a script-action which changes the state of the input-widget to error if the user did not enter any text or Normal if text was entered

(The JavaScript-Help explains most of, working with properties in states for example: Antetype JavaScript)

Does this help?
